We audit non-profit associations of all different sizes and activities across Queensland and Australia.
We audit both unincorporated associations and incorporated associations.
Our audit’s start from as little as $700+GST.
If you are an Incorporated Association in Queensland, you are required to prepare financial statements and
report to the Queensland Office of Fair Trading on an annual basis.
In some instances, the financial report is required to be either or audited or verified.
There are 3 reporting levels for incorporated associations as follows:
LEVEL 1
LEVEL 2
Harth Audit Services also provides audit services to unincorporated associations.
Whether or not your association needs an audit, will depend largely on the rules (constitution) of your association.
As an unincorporated association is not a separate legal identity from the members (ie: you are a group of people coming together for a common cause), we recommend that the accounting records and financial statements of the association be audited annually to minimise the risk of loss to the members.
Harth Audit Services can also assist in the audit of grant acquittals for relevant government or other bodies.
Many funding agreements with either government departments or private enterprise grant programs require the audit and review of grant expenditure to ensure the expenditure is in accordance with the funding agreement.
As the requirements for grant acquittals vary significantly, please contact us for a quote.
